Climate Change

There is only one decade left to prevent our planet from succumbing to irreversible damage.

We launched this initiative to turn small efforts from individuals into a BIG impact.  Together we can make a difference.

50% of Trees are gone

Earth previously had 6 trillion trees, we are now down to 3 trillion.  If nothing is done, in 100 years we will see ecosystems collapse.

Trees are the lungs of Earth

Trees are the lungs of our planet, they breathe in carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen.  They Purify and cool the air, water, and Earth.

Offset your Carbon

One mature tree can absorb 48 lbs of carbon dioxide per year!  This tree over 40 years would sequester 1 ton of carbon dioxide!  National Geographic states, “An area the size of the United States could be restored as forests, with the potential of erasing nearly 100 years of carbon emissions.”

YOU Can Make a Difference

Every tree planted has a global impact.

Logging

Roads into previously inaccessible areas encourages logging along the path(both legal and illegal).  When loggers have harvested the valuable timber, they move on.  With each forest clearing, we lose about 135 species of animals, plants and insects.

Agricultural Expansion

Agricultural expansion is the largest cause of tropical deforestation.  Logged areas are a magnet for farmers and ranchers who slash and burn the remaining forest for cropland or cattle pasture.

State Policies

State policies such as road and railway expansion projects have unintentionally but significantly impacted deforestation.
